Does anti-art have a purifying effect upon morals?
This publication brings together Rousseau’s Discourse on the Sciences and Arts and key Dada texts to explore how Dada radicalizes Rousseau’s critique of intellectualism and bourgeois morality. Narrative formed in this publication try to question whether anti-art can purify morals: Rousseau sees refinement as corrupting, while Dada mocks this corruption through absurdity and rejection of meaning. Using NFC technology, the publication becomes a hybrid experience—some texts remain hidden until accessed via mobile, while videos enrich the reading. A blue and yellow visual scheme reinforces its central theme of contradiction: print vs. digital, structure vs. chaos, visible vs. invisible.
